UNSW Easter Open 2006
The UNSWBC Easter Open Tournament
2006 was held on the 1-2nd April 2006. The number of entries that
we received were unexpectedly large. Forcing the committee to
try even harder to ensure that everyone had a fair 'n good games
along the way to win, while ensuring that we will finish on time!!

The first day of the tournament
was started at 8am with the singles of Open Grade, B and D Grade.
I came a little late, but as I walk into the court, the atmosphere
was amazing. Everyone was in the mood of winning!! Badminton players
were everywhere, couldn't wait for their match to begin. There
were new faces, as well as our regular members. A good time to
catch up with friends.
The doubles were started in the afternoon,
we're on time! An extra court next door was booked, re-assuring
that we would finish on time.

Second day. I managed to come early!!
There weren't too many people around. It's still too early, nice
weather to sleep in. The weather wasn't to friendly for our players
though, it was quite cold, but we have to start anyway. The games
for A and C Grade started.
I might have spent to much time
in the control room. As I walked out for a break, I realized that
there were even more people than yesterday. Not really sure whether
it's because of the 'cheering squads' or the players themselves.
Well, it didn't really matter, as long as everyone were having
fun.
At the end of the day.. Everyone was quite
tired, I supposed. Nevertheless, we couldn't forget those people
who have been helping us with all the preparation before and during
the tournament.
The tournament wouldn't have been concluded
well without their helps. Here are some pictures taken throughout
those two days. For more pictures, please contact one of our committee
members.
